Are you an experienced finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? CME is seeking a proactive and solution-driven Finance Manager to lead the finance functions of our main services entity and support corporate reporting at the group level. In this role, you will manage a small, high-performing team, partner closely with senior leadership on budgeting and compliance, and collaborate with group finance on reporting, planning, and treasury projects. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the finance functions of CME’s main services entity and coordinate consolidation and reporting of the corporate reporting segment.
Lead and develop a small team to deliver efficient processes and transparent reporting.
Partner our senior leadership team in managing budgets and maintaining compliance.
Collaboration with the group finance functions in relation to reporting, planning, treasury and other group projects.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Develop and manage the annual financial budget and monthly forecasts of CME’s corporate entities.
Analyze financial data to provide insights to senior leadership and support them in controlling costs.
Prepare simple financial models or scenario analysis to support decision-making.
Reporting & Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Oversee the day-to-day transaction processing and support the team in solving ad hoc issues.
Oversee the calculation of management recharges in line with transfer pricing requirements.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, tax laws, and internal policies.
Work with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Cash Flow & Risk Management
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity of the company to ensure financial stability.
Coordinate with the Group Finance team to execute intercompany FX trades and other tasks connected to financing needs.
Manage financial controls and improve efficiency in financial operations.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with cost centre managers to optimize budgets and manage financial performance.
Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Assist the CFO and Head of Group Finance with additional tasks in respect of the business, related to either CME Services s.r.o. or other group entities.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role in a Finance team
Excellent communication skills, especially spoken and written English (direct manager is a native English speaker)
Experience in controlling, reporting or accounting roles
Well-organized
Proactive and solution-driven
Experienced in using a variety of digital tools to create efficient, robust finance processes.
Knowledge of Czech GAAP and IFRS.
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
