Our company is seeking a Group FP&A Analyst to provide financial and commercial support to the FP&A Manager. The FP&A Analyst’s primary focus is responsible for facilitating the collection and reporting of certain operational data, maintaining and developing related reports and underlying systems, validating the data collected and analyzing the financial and operational developments in country operations.
The FP&A Analyst also plays a key role in the annual budget and long-term plan process. From time to time, the FP&A Analyst will be asked to work on separate exercises requested by CME management to support key decisions, design and implement process improvements or lead projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals from diverse TV and digital backgrounds and wider exposure to the PPF Group, ensuring a rewarding and enriching experience.
Responsibilities:
Ownership of TV advertising market, revenues and related KPIs reporting. Cooperation with stations to ensure the reports are maintained and updated for all country segments and the Group
Prepare actuals and forecast pack financial schedules
Maintain the forecast, budget and long-term plan models in the planning system. Collaborate with Business Systems to ensure the smooth integration of the planning system with other financial systems and troubleshoot issues identified by station FP&A teams
Contribute to the annual strategy, ratings agency materials and budget processes and presentations
Support analysis and monitoring of key expenditure areas during times of significant business investment, including technology strategy initiatives
Perform monthly actuals data validations and planning system forecast checks to ensure data integrity. Follow up and resolve any discrepancies between financial data and operational data. Identify and resolve differences
Support the FP&A Manager in coordinating updates or changes to the CME data model as necessitated by evolving business needs
Group cash flow planning and coordination with stations
Review and understanding of Working Capital trends
Continuous improvement of business processes and reporting, requiring proactive communication with the stations and other CME departments
Contribute to finance transformation initiatives when applicable
Support the FP&A team on recurring deliverables or ad hoc analysis / projects as needed. Work on ad hoc analysis for CME management or other departments as required
Requirements:
Preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
1+ years in finance or accounting, preferably with Big 4
Strong analytical skills and process-oriented
Affinity for financial systems and applications, digital and growth mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Advanced communication and writing skills in English
Excellent presentation skills in PowerPoint
Attention to detail, organization, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mentality
