The ESG Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, ensuring alignment with industry standards, compliance regulations, and stakeholder expectations.
As part of a leading television and media company in Slovakia, this position is critical in promoting sustainable practices, minimizing environmental impact, driving social responsibility, and enhancing governance.
The ESG Manager will work collaboratively across departments to create and execute sustainable policies and initiatives, enhance reporting transparency, and support the company’s reputation as a responsible corporate citizen.

What will be your competencies?
ESG Strategy Development and Implementation
Develop, implement, and refine ESG strategies that align with CME group company goals and industry best practices.
Collaborate with senior management to integrate ESG considerations into business decision-making processes.
Environmental Management and Sustainability Initiatives
Drive environmental programs, including energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction, and waste management within the company.
Oversee initiatives to reduce environmental impact across content production, distribution, and corporate operations.
Social Impact and Community Engagement
Design and implement social responsibility programs that align with corporate values and community needs.
Collaborate with HR on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant policies.
Lead and participate in community outreach activities that align with the company’s social impact goals.
Governance and Compliance
Ensure the company adheres to ESG-related regulatory standards and disclosures, including sustainability reporting frameworks.
Develop and maintain company policies that promote ethical behavior, corporate governance, and stakeholder engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
Prepare and present periodic reports on ESG initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders.
Engage with external stakeholders and community organizations, to communicate and advocate the company’s ESG objectives.
Personality requirements and skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or a related field
Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements
Proven experience with sustainability reporting, risk assessment, and compliance in a corporate environment
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills, with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting on ESG metrics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
Passion for sustainability and corporate responsibility
